The name, Cascada de Camoján, refers to a cascading stream that forms part of the protected natural scenery of this area at the foot of the mountain. This means residents of Cascada de Camoján have the beauty and seclusion of natural scenery that is ideal for walking and hiking right on their doorsteps.

In spite of this sense of privacy and seclusion, this prime residential zone is also close to all amenities, including shopping, nightlife, schools, medical and other professional services, not to mention beaches, golf, sports clubs and spa facilities.

Cascada de Camoján Location

The small, select residential area of Cascada de Camoján is located within the larger Sierra Blanca area. Set at the base of the La Concha Mountain, it is the upper extension of the luxurious Golden Mile and lies under two kilometres from its beaches and two kilometres from downtown Marbella.

Created within a canopy of umbrella pine, Cascada de Camoján is a gated community within the larger semi-gated community of Sierra Blanca. Cascada de Camoján History

Cascada de Camoján developed originally in the 1970s through the building of a small number of villas on large plots surrounded by nature and overlooking Marbella, the Golden Mile and the sea. It was in the 1990s that the area took form with the construction of more luxurious villas and the exclusive architecturally styled apartment complex of Imara Marbella.

There is also a small collection of luxurious townhouses within Cascáda de Camoján, at the exclusive Hill Club Sierra Blanca, where what are in reality compact villas of over 300m2 set within a gated community with luxury amenities and lush, semi-tropical gardens with stunning views down to Marbella and the sea.
